After his experience in the high end custom home construction industry James began his career in architecture. James joined the staff at Scheid Architectural in 1997. James continued to work on numerous retail, residential, commercial, government and industrial projects while earning his pre-professional degree from the University at Buffalo in 2000.
During his tenure at Scheid Architectural, James has developed valuable experience in all phases of architectural practice from preliminary programming and schematic design to construction administration and management of multi-million dollar projects. Several successful projects have been completed on time and, perhaps more importantly, on budget through his skills as a project manager.
James became a New York State registered architect in 2009.

Relevant Personal Experience
An avid traveler, James has had the experience of seeing different types of architecture and urban development while traveling to Asia, Europe and the United Kingdom.
After a 4 year tenure as Associate Head Coach of the University at Buffalo ACHA Division I men’s ice hockey team, James continues to serve as an advisor to the program. The Bulls earned their first ever bid to the ACHA National Tournament and Eastern Collegiate Hockey League Playoff Championship during his time with the program.
James is a member of the Saint Francis Preparatory High School Alumni Association as well as the University at Buffalo Alumni Association.
