Architect
Steve graduated in 1996 from the University at Buffalo. Immediately out of school he joined Galbo Architects, a small firm focused on residential and small commercial architecture, where he designed new homes and additions with commercial work including tenant fit-outs, several restaurants and office spaces.
After departing Galbo Architects, Steve took a position with MWT Architects for more commercial experience. Steve's work at MWT included hotels, office buildings, assisted living facilities and townhouses. While managing projects, Steve further developed his knowledge and experience in the field of architecture, allowing him to complete the Internship Development Program (IDP) through the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
Steve became a New York State registered architect in 2002.
Joining Scheid Architectural in 2004, Steve has completed office, banking, industrial and residential projects. Due to the complex nature of some these projects, he has become well versed in the Codes of New York State, several National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA) codes, and accessibility regulations such as ANSI A117.1 and ADAAG.
