Groundbreaking scheduled for $14M beverage distribution center in Saratoga Springs
Saratoga Eagle Sales and Service of Queensbury will break ground on its new $14 million beverage distribution center at the W.J. Grande Industrial Park in Saratoga Springs on Friday.
The subsidiary of western New York-based Try-It Distributing Co., is building a 111,000-square-foot plant with offices, a recycling center, a truck wash and 95,000 square feet of warehouse space.
Saratoga Eagle Sales, located near Northway exit 18 in Queensbury, plans to move its operation to Saratoga Springs when the new plant is completed.
The beer, soda and water distributor, which is planning to expand its business to include liquor and wine, services a region that includes Essex, Hamilton, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren and Washington counties.
The distribution center is being designed and built by Lehigh/Lakeside and Scheid Architectural Design.
