The American Institute of Architects Buffalo / WNY Chapter - 2009 Design Awards
The American Institute of Architects Buffalo/ WNY Chapter awarded Scheid Architectural the 2009 Merit Award in the addition and renovation category for the design of the Buffalo Seminary's Courtyard Commons project.

Jury Comments: “The attention and detail applied to the former exterior wall, of the new interior courtyard, illustrates the care and sensitivity of intervention. This project is a great example of a reclaimed negative space and now serves as a focal point for the entire building interior.”
